Welcome

I’m Jacinda, the face behind Shirvale Equine Rehabilitation.

I have been passionate about all things equine, from anatomy, to biomechanics & rehabilitation, for as long as I can remember. In 2010 I chose to funnel this passion into a career as an equine musculoskeletal & rehabilitation therapist, and I haven’t looked back since!

My two main passions & gifts I love to share are:

1. Unearthing compensation, postural and biomechanical patterns in horses (& dogs) that indicate musculoskeletal dysfunction, then using a variety of modalities to facilitate the horses own healing processes to restore healthy mobility.

2. Passing on my knowledge to you so that you can develop a better understanding of how your horse moves & functions. Understanding this will enable you to detect when something isn’t quite right in their musculoskeletal system, potentially catching the problem in the early stages before it becomes a detectable lameness or injury. For those rehabilitating an injured horse, or for those who unfortunately one day will have to, I hope to provide you with support and an easy to understand program to make a very daunting task, manageable.

There are many ways that I can help you & your horse, please have a look at the below links, and feel free to get in touch with any questions.
