Shirvale Equine Rehabilitation Centre
I have dreamt about building and opening an equine rehabilitation centre since 2013, finally bringing it to life, has taken more work than I ever could have anticipated, but boy am I excited to open this space to you and your horsesMy wish is that this space is one of healing, of integration, of developing proudness in our horses again. As well as a space where we as humans come to learn more about our horses and their bodies.
We are located in Glenore Grove, QLD, conveniently located only a short drive off of the Warrego Highway, 10 minutes from UQ Gatton Vet Hospital.
Our Facilities
- A variety of paddocks to suit any horses requirements, with a mixture of native grasses and Rhodes grass.
- 7x16m cattle rail yards
- 4x4m stables with Buckaroobarn Ultimate Comfort Stall Mats providing shock absorption and allowing for lymphatics to still be stimulated for long term confinement cases.
- 3x3m work bays with rubber flooring
- 60x20m grass arena

We tailor the rehabilitation program to each individual horses needs.
Services offered
Rehabilitation stays for:
- Kissing spines & other spinal pathology rehabilitation
- Nerve damage rehabilitation e.g. sweeney shoulder, radial nerve paralysis
- Complex postural and biomechanical dysfunction cases
Starting at $650 per week
Foundations of Soundness intensives
These intensives will involve deep diving to the root cause. This takes time, respecting the horse and their body throughout the journey, only working through and with what is ready to be mobilized at any given time. I blend body work techniques with movement therapy to guide the horse back to their most functional, proud selves.
At the end of your horses stay you will be required to complete a few lessons with myself and your horse, so you can feel and understand the changes, whilst learning the skills to continue your horses progress at home.
$650 per week.
Unwind Program – 1 to 2 week program.
The unwind program is for horse owners wanting to understand their horse and their horses body more deeply, whilst beginning their horses healing journey.
This program includes full care at Shirvale Equine Rehabilitation Centre, 4 equine musculoskeletal therapy sessions per week and a lesson upon pick up running through the at home program that will be formulated for you to continue on with.
$750 per week.
Clarity Program –3 day program
For those wanting clarity as to what is going on with their horse, with a simple program to continue on with.
The clarity program includes full care at Shirvale Equine Rehabilitation Centre, 2 full equine musculoskeletal therapy appointments, and a lesson upon pick up running through the at home program that will be formulated for you to continue on with.
$350 for 3 day program.
