Service Policies
Payment
• For appointments in the local service area, payment is required either via prepayment or at the time of appointment either with cash or eftpos.
• For trips booked outside of local service area a $50 deposit is taken to confirm your booking (once minimum number requirements have been met). This deposit is non-refundable in the case of cancellation unless your appointment slot is able to be filled. The remainder of the fee is payable at the time of appointment with cash or eftpos.
Cancellation/No-Show Fee
• For bookings in the local service area, 48 hours’ notice of cancellation is required otherwise full appointment fee will be charged.
• Trips requiring minimum numbers for travel a run like “clinics” with a non-refundable $50 being taken to confirm your booking. In case of cancellation, this deposit is kept unless your appointment slot is able to be filled by another client.
• No shows will be charged full fee.
Punctuality
• As Jacinda schedules her day to appropriately service all her clients, punctuality is required to allow her to get to her next appointment. If you are running late, this time will reduce the time Jacinda is able to spend working on your horse, no adjustment to fee will be made in these circumstances.
• If you have not contacted Jacinda informing her of your delay, and she has arrived at the location, she will wait 15mins before leaving, full appointment fee will be charged in these instances.
Before a session, please
• Ensure your horse has been caught, unrugged and is located on as flat a surface as possible.
• If acupuncture is going to be performed the area must be free from hay/feed etc. a concrete surface is preferable. Jacinda has the right to refuse to perform acupuncture if she deems the environment is not safe to do so.
• Your horse must be dry and clean from mud, dirt and other debris. Please avoid using conditioners before an appointment as this will affect Jacinda’s ability to apply kinesio tape if required.
• There must be someone available to hold the horse for the duration of the appointment for the safety of both the horse and the therapist.
Extreme Weather
• If a suitable under cover area is not available in wet weather conditions the appointment will be rescheduled to a mutually agreed time.
